‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 16 preview: Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, more great scenes
When “Pretty Little Liars” returns to TV next week, things are going to (surprise!) get even crazier than they have been so far … mostly all thanks to Ezra. The preview below for this installment teases first and foremost that perhaps, the Liars have been a little bit too naive in thinking that Ian Harding’s character was not a suspect to be a nefarious criminal. However, now may be the time in which some of them start to open their eyes.
In addition to Ezra, the synopsis below teases that a familiar face will return with a message, and Ali may end up arriving back in the present-day landscape again:
“Shana returns to Ravenswood to tell Emily that she has a message from Ali, but can Emily and the girls trust Shana with all that they know about her? And when Shana ups the stakes and says that Ali wants to meet Emily – and only Emily – could it all be part of an ‘A’ plan, or is Emily really Alison’s favorite? With Emily becoming more hopeful by the minute, Spencer is determined to not let her friend get hurt. Meanwhile, Aria and Hanna deal with matters of the heart.”
All in all, we hope that this will be an episode that really takes that sort of “great leap forward” that we need for the show at this point. We’ve already seen a few little changes and updates when it comes to “A” and Ali, but with this being the third episode of the spring, we need something that really blows the roof off of the place.
