‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Rachel Bilson’s Zoe and … cabaret?

Want to find out some more scoop on the future of “Hart of Dixie” season 3? While the winter premiere for the show is not going to be on until January 13, we do at least have some more scoop about what will be following it up the next week.  The January 20 installment is entitled “Star of the Show,” and it definitely feels already like this entire episode is going to feel somewhat different than everything else this season.

First of all, there is going to be a presence of cabaret this week! Could Zoe be forced into a much more … musical position? It’s possible. Also, the full synopsis for this hour teases that there are some more developments coming courtesy of the merger, George’s personal life, and also Wade trying to figure out if his new relationship is really that at all:

“When Brick (Tim Matheson) is asked to help with the local cabaret, he nominates Zoe (Rachel Bilson) to save the day. Lavon (Cress Williams) feels defeated about the possible merger with Fillmore, so it is left up to AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) and Lemon (Jaime King) to motivate him to put up one last fight. Lynly (guest star Antoinette Robertson) continues to become more jealous of George’s (Scott Porter) close friendship with Tansy (guest star Mircea Monroe), and keeps a close on eye him. Meanwhile, Wade (Wilson Bethel) is excited about his new romance, but grows concerned when he notices that she is pulling away.”

While we would assume that the new relationship being hinted at here with Wade would be the one between him and Vivian Wilkes, you do have to remember that this is “Hart of Dixie” that we’re talking about here. Anything can happen, and things have a tendency to change very quickly … especially with Wade.

All in all, it does still sound like a heck of a fun hour of TV, and we’ll have a whole lot more about it when it actually airs.
