ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Will Emily Thorne’s shooting destroy the Graysons?

Ready for a touch of interesting irony when it comes to “Revenge” season 3? Well, just think about this for a minute: Even though Daniel Grayson shot Emily Thorne out of rage over everything that she did to his family, his actions at the same time could end up detonating all sorts of problems nonetheless within the Grayson clan. Now that Emily is in the hospital, there is still going to be an investigation into what happened to her … and that will be the focus of the upcoming “Homecoming” episode airing on Sunday, January 6.

Based on the new synopsis released by ABC, there are going to be a number of problems that arise pretty quickly in the wake of what happened, including the Graysons playing the good ol’ fashioned blame game:

“As allies and enemies scramble to learn what happened the night of Emily’s wedding, the Graysons close ranks to protect their own. But when everyone’s a suspect, it’s only a matter of time before they tear each other apart.”

If we were a detective, we would probably waste very little time naming Victoria a top suspect, just on the basis of everything that she has done to Emily and her family over the years already. This is a woman who has been all sorts of awful to her no matter how you look at it, whether you are talking about her actions publicly, or her actions as reported by others. Conrad could also be pinned in here in some way, or maybe Victoria could even be so cruel as to try to pin this on Charlotte, given that she was as involved as anyone in trying to split Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman’s characters apart.

What do you think about the idea behind this episode, and who do you imagine is going to take the fall for Emily’s shooting? As always, we want to hear your predictions below!
