‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Who knew BlueBell had a ‘sister city’?

While you may be waiting until January 12 for some more action on “Hart of Dixie,” we can at least promise you that there are going to be a few stories on the show that you haven’t seen before … including some visitors who fit even more into that “fish out of water” category than Dr. Zoe Hart.

According to a new report from E! News, we are getting set to the meet the mayor and deputy mayor of ChlocheBleu, which is (yes) BlueBell in French. You see, these two towns are sister cities, which is a fun little way for one to promote the other. Unfortunately, none of this is a guarantee that one of our new visitors in the Alabama town is going to necessarily appreciate what she sees. Mayor Eloise is apparently not entirely impressed with what the town has to offer, whereas her deputy mayor named Jean Claude manages to quickly take a liking to the American southern belle.

This doesn’t necessarily sound like something that is going to matter much to the story in the long-term, but at the same time it does sound like quite a bit of fun. That is something that we will at least appreciate for the time being. Also, we’ll welcome hearing almost any good news after we heard that the show will be moving to Fridays a little bit later in 2014. While this is a sign that The CW clearly feels like they can draw better numbers in that timeslot with something else, there’s also no immediate reason to panic over the show’s future just yet. It has a devoted fan following for one, and there is a chance it could fare just as well without having to air against “The Voice,” programming on Fox, and either “Dancing with the Stars” or “The Bachelor.”
