‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3: ‘The Voice’ winner Danielle Bradbery books appearance
Given that we first said that this would happen earlier this summer, we would love take credit for it; however, we imagine that almost anyone could figure out that a singer with a debut single called “The Heart of Dixie” really should be appearing on “Hart of Dixie” at some point.
This news was first published by The Hollywood Reporter, who claim that Danielle is going to come on board the series for its upcoming eighth episode, where she will then perform the song that she released not long after winning “The Voice.” She joins a roster of acts to appear on the show including “American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery, group Gloriana, and the upcoming appearance from The Hand and the Heart. It’s a move that certainly makes sense for both parties, given the title of the song and “Hart of Dixie” being a show that loves to embrace country music. It’s also a chance for Danielle to promote herself on a show that ironically airs against “The Voice,” and may have a new audience.
Danielle is preparing a debut album to release this holiday season, and the timing here should be about perfect when you consider that this episode should premiere right in the middle of the shopping bonanza. The premiere of “Hart of Dixie” is just one week away, while “The Voice” is already multiple nights into its blind auditions. Maybe Danielle can help to carry over some of the ratings gold that NBC has with their singing competition, and take it to the Alabama town of Bluebell. They’ll certainly need it in this 8:00 p.m. Monday timeslot.
Are you glad to see Danielle coming on “The Voice”? Sound off below, and be sure to also check out here some details about “Chuck” actor Ryan McPartlin, and what he is going to be doing on “Hart of Dixie” this year.
