‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: New footage of Summer Glau in promo

Summer Glau fans, rejoice! We don’t have to sit here and try to explain to you why the former “Firefly” star is so popular; all you have to do is look at her resume and the number of different genre shows that she has appeared in. “Arrow” is just the latest one, and her role as Isobel Rochev is definitely anticipated.

While we were curious about if she is going to adopt a look similar to the Green Arrow comics, it looks like she is keeping her hair color just the way it is. This does make a little bit more sense, at least when you remember that there are not too many characters (save for Thea) in the modern-day Starling City universe that have dark hair while Felicity, Moira, and even Laurel this season are sporting some lighter locks.

As for whether or not Isobel is an ally or an adversary of Oliver Queen, that you could say is one of the most pressing questions in regards to this upcoming season. She is a very powerful businesswoman that could heel Queen’s organization is some pretty significant ways … but that help is not exactly guaranteed, since there could very well be conflicting motives. Plus, let’s face it: You really want to see Glau get involved in some action sequences, and she was probably cast more than to just play someone who is involved in business dealings.
