‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Oliver Queen ‘sharper’ in new trailer (video)

Do you want to get a sense of what is coming up on “Arrow” season 2? Then we imagine that you are really going to love the new teaser just released by The CW.

In this video, you can check out what we are going to see from this “evolved” version of Oliver Queen. He’s been through the disaster in The Glades, and with that comes an added sense of responsibility now to be more than a vigilante, and to be a hero that most of the city can rely on. Unfortunately, problems are going to crop up right away, including some miscreants who try their best to be him, only to end up failing pretty miserably in the process. (This is mostly just code for them being far more evil than he is.)

While many of the villains coming up this season were not a heavy part of this promo, you do at least get a sense of a few more storylines, including some more island flashbacks, a glammed-up version of Felicity Smoak, Diggle talking about everything that he has lost, and at least a tiny clip thrown in here of Roy Harper. The trailer does exactly what you would want it to: Remind you that this is a far different world for many of the characters, and also remind us who all of the key players are. You may have to wait until Wednesday, September 9 to find out more.
