‘Bones’ season 9 spoilers: Booth struggles, war with CIA breaks in new promo

In literally just one week’s time, the season 9 premiere of “Bones” will be upon us. Therefore, why not share some more footage from the show?

In the video below, you can see what is looking like it will be a pretty violent situation for David Boreanaz’s character as he is thrown right back into the line of fire not that long following his scary incident that we saw with Pelant at the end of last season. This new case will involve a sort of war between the FBI and the CIA, which are organizations that we typically see in all sorts of mediums battle it out for control. They each continually believe that they are right, and when that happens, we do traditionally see chaos of a certain variety ensue.

While it is not teased during the video below, you can also expect there to be plenty of drama that stems from the Pelant situation. Booth and Brennan are going to need some people to talk to about what has become an increasingly-sensitive issue for both of them. Neither one of them really wanted to break the heart of the other, but they have been in a position where honesty is unfortunately almost impossible. This will change in time, and the real question worth asking right now is when.
