‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ season 5 trailer: Teresa Giudice and a ‘force of nature’

On June 2, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” are going to officially be back with all-new episodes, and Bravo is taking a little bit of a different approach in promoting some of the episodes ahead.

Typically, the trailers for every version of the Bravo franchise are pretty similar to each other: we see highlights from the upcoming season, which includes everything from snarky one-liners in confessionals to the women looking almost like they are ready to start to go to blows with each other. (As a matter of fact, sometimes we are pretty sure that they are going to.) However, this is more of a commercial revolving around nature: it’s fun, it’s colorful, and it’s definitely different.

This past season, the theme was pretty simple: it was Teresa Giudice versus everyone. It seemed as though most of the fighting stemmed from either a longtime feud with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, and also some comments that she made about Caroline Manzo in her cookbook. We don’t really know what happened from here, but the family divide ended up leading to all sorts of other horrible consequences. Her relationship with Jacqueline Laurita disintegrated, and by the time the finale aired, there was speculation about whether or not she deliberately tried to spread untrue gossip about Gorga’s past.

We don’t know if there is really any hope at this point for the family to work out some of their issues, but we will say this: if Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes on the “Atlanta” version of the show can resolve some of the differences that they had, so can Teresa and Melissa.
