‘The Amazing Race 22’ preview: Who’s ready for a German rave party?

While not every challenge on “The Amazing Race 22” has been a home run to this point, there are some pretty definite reasons to be excited about the road ahead. After all, the preview that we have below for Sunday night’s new episode suggests something that has to be considered a pretty good time: a German rave party!

Specifically, it appears as though teams are going to have to carry giant glowing letters through the streets of one of German’s most-populous cities in hopes of spelling something out, and some teams (shocker!) are going to have a much harder time with this than others.

Speaking of things that some people are going to have a rather hard time with, one of the more fascinating / frightening challenges of this leg is going to feature teams literally being forced to plummet from the top of a building a la a free fall. We can’t imagine anything more terrifying, especially since we would rather in some ways repel, or something that did not feel as though you were getting slammed to the ground at a rapid speed.

For those curious, “The Amazing Race” has been to Berlin before, with the most notable time being season 6, when Jonathan famously shoved his wife Victoria. This quickly became one of the most detested moments in the history of the show, and also made him into one of the biggest reality TV villains ever (and not in a “love to hate” sort of way).
