‘Bones’ season 8, episode 20 spoilers: Why are Booth and Brennan looking at engagement rings?

Many fans of “Bones” have been waiting 8 seasons for Booth and Brennan to get married (or at least engaged), so what’s the big hold up?  They already live together and they have Christine – also we know that there will be a wedding on “Bones” before season 8 is over, so could it be Booth and Brennan?

On the next new episode of “Bones” season 8 called “The Blood from the Stones” Booth and Brennan find themselves in a jewelery shop that specializes in diamond engagement rings.  Even though Booth and Brennan are in the store from reasons other then wedding talk (the case they are working on is what brought them to the jewelery store) the salesman behind the counter pulls out a selection of engagement rings for them to look at, sparking a conversation between Booth and Brennan about getting engaged.

Brennan feels weird calling Booth her “boyfriend” because their relationship is so much more then that at this point, but because of her stance on marriage, Booth feels that if they are ever to get engaged at this point that Brennan is going to have to be the one to propose to him.  Booth tries to push the subject a little bit, putting Brennan in the uncomfortable position of saying that she doesn’t foresee them ever getting married.

The next new episode of “Bones” season 8 airs on Monday, March 25 at 8 p.m. on Fox – Will you be watching?
