‘Fringe’ series finale spoilers: Seth Gabel mum on potential return
In just one week, the series finale of “Fringe” will be here and a cult phenomenon is going to be at an end. So what’s going to happen before that time? If you want to find out early, we have two words for: good luck. In addition to that, we also have a question: why in the world would you want to spoil this for yourself so close to the episode actually airing?
With this in mind, don’t expect anyone related to the show to tease much of anything about what is going to happen … including a man in Seth Gabel is no longer even on the show. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about his upcoming appearance on “Arrow” (which is where he is playing a version of the villain Count Vertigo), the actor admitted that even he has been gagged about whether or not he will appear during the two-part episode next Friday:
“I’m not able to say anything either way about it … I’m sworn to secrecy on either front.”
If you are looking for more on Gabel’s appearance on “Arrow,” know that he may only appear in just one episode. While the role was originally pitched as a recurring one, at the moment it is not clear whether or not they will extend the story given everything else that is going on with the show (including the Dark Archer storyline that was presented in the midseason finale).
Do you have any sort of inclination as to what you want to see happen during the finale? Be sure to share your thoughts below! In addition to that,, you can also hear what J.J. Abrams had to say about this final episode over at the link here.
