Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 5 return date: Owen’s flashbacks
As for what is coming when this episode airs, the title here is “Danger Zone” and we’re going to be spending a great deal of time in the past! This episode is a chance to look more at what happened in Iraq so many years ago when Megan was there with Owen, Nathan, and others. This will get you up to speed on what happened before she was taken, and also how the characters are presumably recovering in the aftermath of it. The synopsis below gives you some good insight on all of this.
Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 5 synopsis – “In a flashback to Iraq in 2007, the events leading up to Megan’s kidnapping are revealed. In present day, Owen and Megan hash out old wounds.”
If you love Kevin McKidd you have absolutely the best motivation in the world to watch this episode — it’ll probably have a great performance from him. In general this has been a great start of the season for the Owen character, and McKidd has served more as a leading man than arguably ever before with the series. Even if it is an ensemble show, he has taken on some heavy material and been at the forefront of most of the drama. We do hope that eventually, he does get an opportunity to have a little bit of peace.
One way or another, we’re getting an embarrassment of riches at CarterMatt to write about when it comes to this show — and we do still have the firefighter spin-off on the horizon.
