Is Fear the Walking Dead season 3 episode 9 new tonight on AMC?

Dead new tonight

Is Fear the Walking Dead season 3 episode 9 new tonight? Given how fast we’ve seen the first eight episodes, it’s fair to want more.

Alas, the bad news here is rather simple: There is no more of Fear the Walking Dead in the near future; as a matter of fact, you’ll be waiting for a rather long time still to get more of the show. There is no midseason return date yet — it’d be great if one is announced at San Diego Comic-Con (provided that this panel happens in the wake of the tragedy on The Walking Dead set), but there are no guarantees of that very thing.

It’s not exactly that hard to figure out why AMC isn’t running through all 16 episodes straight through: They don’t want to compete against Game of Thrones, and with that show’s monster ratings, it’s rather hard to blame them for that.

In terms of premiere-date possibilities, the only things that we can offer here are this fall on a different night other than Sundays (the flagship show occupies those), or over the holidays in the same timeslot occupied by The Walking Dead proper. We reported recently that filming for the third season is complete, so there is no reason to worry about that in particular.

For the rest of this article, we thought we’d dive in to some of what Fear the Walking Dead season 3 should bring the rest of the way now that Jeremiah Otto is dead, and the leadership position at Broke Jaw Ranch is a little bit more out in the open.

1. Madison trying to take charge – We know that Kim Dickens’ character has that natural leader tendency, and that’s something that she is probably going to want to try and embrace further in this episode.

2. An investigation into what happened to Otto – We want there to be some resistance from Troy and Jake — they know their father, and it’s right for them to wonder if everything is precisely as it seems with his death.

3. More of Walker – Is he a villain, or an ally following the trade? We don’t think that him getting Otto’s head is going to be anywhere close to the end of whatever is going on here. That just seems too easy.

4. The gang back together again – It’ll be so interesting to see Strand and Salazar immersed once more into the group after everything that they’ve been through. That’s probably even more true when it comes to Strand just because of the fact that he just SET THE ABIGAIL ON FIRE. Clearly, learning the scale of the zombie apocalypse has adjusting his thinking.

5. A new threat – When one enemy departs, another arrives. That may be both terrible and brutal, but that is much of the way of things when it comes to this show.
