Fear the Walking Dead season 3: Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam-Carey, cast wrap

While you may still be waiting for some time for Fear the Walking Dead season 3 to return, know this: The cast is done filming!

In a new post on Twitter, series star Kim Dickens (Madison) confirmed the news with a new post, tweeting at some of her co-stars including Colman Domingo (Strand) and Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia). Of course, a big part of the fun at the moment here is the big mystery as to whether or not all of these characters are even still alive at the time you get to the end of this season. The third season was one of the craziest / most-intense ones that we’ve seen, and what has come along with this is expectations for more surprises in the second half. We do know that the show is going to have an enormous challenge when it comes to try to top what happened to Travis, arguably the biggest character death on either edition of the zombie franchise. (Sure, there was more hype around Glenn and Abraham’s departure at the hands of Negan, but at least one of those was predicted via the comics.)

Given that filming for season 3 is now over, there are a wide array of different possibilities as to when the show could come back for some further episodes.  We know that it’s going to take a little bit of time for the episodes to resume airing — there needs to be time for editing, and more than that AMC needs to leave open a little bit of space so that everyone really misses the show when it’s not on the air. It is important, after all, for fans of the show to miss it.

Beyond that, one of the big debates is mostly just about finding the right time in which to air it. While on paper doing that this fall makes sense, where do you put it on given that The Walking Dead is on Sundays? What the show is looking at right now is a situation either where they move the show to a different night, or they consider airing it at the end of The Walking Dead and its season 8A run.

What do you want to see on Fear the Walking Dead the rest of the way?
