Supergirl season 2, episode 15 video asks more Jeremiah Danvers questions

On Supergirl season 2, episode 15 Monday night, there will be a chance to see more of Jeremiah Danvers, and in turn, a chance to ask further questions regarding whether or not we will end up seeing him become a force for greater good or greater evil.

Specifically, the one thing we know for certain is that this is a man who, one way or another, is incredibly manipulative. He understands the amount of power that he has over Kara and especially Alex Danvers, and you can get a further sense of that in the latest sneak peek below as he seems to have Alex believing, even if it is just briefly, that he may still have a larger plan. He’s already betrayed her once, but can he argue that this betrayal was a part of a larger scheme to betray Project Cadmus? Be the end of this episode “Exodus,” Jeremiah’s allegiances could become so confusing that they make everything going on with Lena Luthor’s potential allegiances somewhat benign by comparison. (There are plenty of other things to discuss with Lena these days.)

For the time being, Jeremiah Danvers remains an interesting characters mostly because you can see that he holds a deep love for his daughter on some level, but he’s obviously torn and conflicted. Maybe it’s Stockholm Syndrome, or maybe he does feel like there are a lot of aliens who need to be eradicated. One way or another, the story tonight will set in motion a series of other game-changing events that push the story forward to the next level.

What lies beyond the Jeremiah Danvers story

Remember that at some point soon, Teri Hatcher will be appearing in a mysterious role that could be the Big Bad for the end of the season. The idea of her sharing screen time with Dean Cain has to be appearing for any longtime Superman fan, and then you add to this the presence of Kevin Sorbo, who is playing another important / potentially-evil character in his own right. Even beyond “Exodus,” there is a lot to look forward to … and we haven’t even spoken about the entire musical episode of the show just yet.
