‘Legends of Tomorrow’ spoilers: When space pirates attack!

Who doesn’t love a good-ol’ attack from space pirates? It’s such a weird concept, but this is exactly what the upcoming March 3 episode of DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” is all about. The title here is “Marooned,” and the synopsis makes it rather clear that we’re going to get a chance to see everything from space pirates to more trouble from Vandal Savage in the near future:

“After receiving a distress call from another timeship stranded in space, Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides to answer the call in order to use the other ship’s computer to track Savage (guest star Casper Crump). The team is suspicious and warns him this could be a trap but he moves forward with his plan. Ultimately, the team was right and they have to battle time pirates. With most of the team captured, it is up to Professor Stein (Victor Garber) to rescue them all.”

For everyone who loves Garber, this should be a lot of fun! What we’ve really enjoyed about the past few episodes of the season in particular is that almost everyone is getting the chance to be in the limelight here and there. We’ve seen it now with Ray Palmer, Captain Cold, and even Heat Wave in a surprising way. They all bring things to the table, and it takes much more than physical strength sometimes to stay alive. This episode could prove that given that without Jefferson, Martin doesn’t have many powers at all.

Also, it’s nice to see that Savage himself will be turning up in an episode once again! He was mentioned but not seen during this past installment.
