‘Doctor Who’ season 9 video: Jenna Coleman reflects on favorite episodes

Doctor -Before you completely say goodbye to Jenna Coleman as an integral part of “Doctor Who,” the BBC is doing what they can to give her as great of a send-off as humanly possible. How else do you explain what they’ve got going on in the video below?

In this clip, you can see Coleman list off some of her favorite moments and episodes over the course of her run, and she has a taste clearly for doing things that are certainly outside the box! One of her favorite moments, she says, was being imposed into a William Hartnell episode. She’s also enjoyed getting to go to different locations, working with Matt Smith, and doing a number of notable Peter Capaldi episodes. She specifically references “Listen,” which makes us smile personally given that we feel like this is one of our own favorites of the entire Steven Moffat era.

Coleman is moving on to appear in a new British series about Queen Victoria, and we know that “Doctor Who” will be able to find another person to play the next Companion soon enough. If we were them, we think the only criteria we would really have is to first and foremost get someone who is enthusiastic about the part, and then also someone who is different from both Coleman and fellow recent companion Karen Gillan. You want as many different ways to mix things up as possible with a show like this.

Is it still possible that Coleman turns up this season once more? We’re not ruling it out.
