‘The X Factor’ UK preview: Glimpses of Che Chesterman, Alien, Mason Noise in new promo

X Factor -For the second straight weekend, rugby is going to get in the way of “The X Factor” in its standard time on Saturday, but the series will be back on Sunday to continue the tradition of the Six Chair Challenge … and in the process, potentially exciting and/or terrifying many of the contestants who do their best to try to impress the panel.

We’ve been clear in our hatred of this entire spectacle, mostly because to us it feels like we are getting to see the show more or less just doing the Roman coliseum complete with bloodthirsty (or at least criticism-hungry) fans and contestants having to go directly against their friends. Basically, their own dream has to be more important than the feelings of some other people in their category.

The promo below is short, but there are three people who we recognize right away in it.

Che Chesterman – The somewhat-quiet former grocery worker with one of the best ranges we’ve seen for any guy on the show in some time.

Alien – The eclectic, fascinating girl group who to us has to be considered for the live shows alongside 4th Impact (formerly known as 4th power).

Mason Noise – One of the most controversial contestants, largely because of his attitude. There is some talent there, but with that cheeky name and that ego, he thinks that he is the second coming of every cocky male music star currently on pop radio. Based on how he drops the mic, this doesn’t end well.
