‘The X Factor’ UK notes: Simon Cowell talks the Overs (again); Louis Walsh rumors

X Factor -At some point in the near future we’re going to see Simon Cowell’s Overs perform on “The X Factor” UK, and the early sentiment is inevitably going to be that this could be a rather awkward thing to behold. Why is that? Well, it’s all tied to the fact that he cursed during the taping of the Six-Chair Challenge the moment that he figured out that this was who he’d be paired with for the rest of the season.

Simon did apologize on social media for the outburst, but then on “Good Morning Britain” the judge admitted that had he been paying attention to where the cameras were, he would have at least pretended to be a little more excited:

“I didn’t know they were watching at the time, I wasn’t aware! I watched it back and I thought, yeah I should’ve realised they’d be watching at the time – because I would have lied to them.”

Here’s the odd thing about Simon’s stance at the moment: We understand that it is less likely to get a major music star from the Overs, but he did win this past season with Ben Haenow, who recorded a duet with Kelly Clarkson. Doesn’t that at least count for something?

In other news – Apparently, Louis Walsh is considering doing “I’m a Celebrity,” which makes us wonder a little about who he will proclaim out in the jungle is a “ready made pop star.” There have been rumors surrounding him returning to “The X Factor” in some capacity, but given that there are already four judges, do we really need him? We just don’t think that Louis of all people is going to be that huge ratings draw.
