‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 3 preview: Is Jo pregnant with Alex’s baby?

For many weeks now, there have been promises of a big story on “Grey’s Anatomy” involving Alex and Jo. There was something more planned for the two during season 11, but it was delayed thanks to Patrick Dempsey’s departure.

We cannot tell you whether or not a pregnancy story was the one that was initially planned for the show this past spring, but this is certainly the direction that we are going in now courtesy of the promo for next week’s episode. Are these sort of big reveals misleading? More often than not, we like to think that the answer to this is “yes.” In this case, however, Jo mentioning finding out “this morning” and talking with Alex about children are pretty definitive pieces of evidence.

If Jo is in fact pregnant, there is no guarantee at present as to whether or not the baby will be delivered … but it would be pretty terrible to see something similar happen to what we just saw on this past episode with the characters of April and Jackson.

Speaking of these two, next week’s new episode is going to continue their dysfunctional story after April made it clear that she is going to fight for the two to make their marriage work, and try to make up for some of the mistakes that she has made. So what’s the problem here? It may be as simple as that Jackson does not have anywhere near the same sort of interest; as a matter of fact, he may be openly fighting to ensure that things do not work out.
