‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: Andrew Howard signs up for recurring role

ShieldThe third season of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” is starting up production, and that means getting a chance to learn a thing or two more about what the story of the show is going to be.

Of course, with that being said the show is not entirely one that has a tendency to give much away when it comes to the story, or who some of the newcomers are going to play. With that in mind, we really cannot tell you too much for now other than the following.

According to a new report coming in from Deadline, actor Andrew Howard (“Hatfields & McCoys”) has been cast to play a role as … an agent. Seriously, that is what we know. Technically, we also know that his name is Banks, but that is not really the sort of additional information that is really worth writing home about.

Season 3 of “Agents of SHIELD” premieres this fall, and there are a couple of things that we know for sure are coming up. For example, the Secret Warriors storyline is going to play a big role, especially since Daisy Johnson is front and center for it. You should also expect to see Coulson continuing to do his best to lead, and also figure out how Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter are now worked into the story, now that the much-discussed spin-off is no longer going to happen. Granted, it was really only in the discussion stages in the first place.

This is not the only big news when it comes to “Agents of SHIELD” coming out today. Just be sure to head over here to get some other scoop when it comes to Chloe Bennet’s new look! Also, be sure to sign up here to get some other updates on all we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: ABC.)
