‘Fear the Walking Dead’ spoilers: Latest promo all about the escape

AMC has been promoting “Fear the Walking Dead” rather extensively, and it does not take much to understand why. While the first season may only be six episodes, expectations are huge for this to at least be a major hit right out of the gate.

The latest promo below is really all about an escape for Nick, who we still better know as Tom Riddle from the “Harry Potter” films. He is clearly running from something, which more than likely is one of the early walkers. We’re not assuming necessarily after looking at this that the zombie chasing him possesses some sort of super-speed. Instead, think about it this way. Imagine that you just saw some sort of creature like a zombie that you’ve never encountered before; even if it barely moves at all, you’re probably going to run from it as fast as humanly possible. Who wants to deal with something that horrific? The answer is probably “no one.”

Part of the intrigue of this series should be seeing how people react right away to the existence of zombies in the world, given that it is something so unusual still to these people, and “The Walking Dead” was able to gloss over so much of the early days thanks to Rick Grimes being in a coma.

This season will premiere in August, and we imagine that the network is going to continue to hand out promo after promo before that time. Stay tuned for some other updates, and hopefully some more videos.
