‘The Bachelor’: Chris Soules, Whitney Bischoff open up about breakup
Mrs. Carter: How are Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff handling their breakup?
It’s never easy to end a relationship. However, it is probably so much harder when this said relationship is one that everyone watched on TV for an entire season. We understand how this must be frustrating to many “Bachelor” fans and even production, given that this is a relationship that you really hope lasts and you invested so much time into it. However, at the same time you have to remember that Chris and Whitney invested even more, and were willing (especially in Whitney’s case) to uproot their entire lives in some ways in order to ensure that it could work out. Having it end with a broken engagement is rather sad.
We are happy to at least see that the two seem to be relying on some of the love of support that they are receiving to push through. Ultimately, sometimes things just don’t work out. We haven’t heard anything yet that suggests that there was anything scandalous behind the breakup at all; they may have just been two people who were too different for a relationship, and it was harder when the cameras stopped rolling.
We imagine that at some point this season on “The Bachelorette,” we will probably hear more from Chris or Whitney about what happened. The only thing we hope for is that they keep it classy, and try their best to move on.
