‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11 finale spoilers: First look at ‘You’re My Home’

The future -However sad that “Grey’s Anatomy” season 11 may be (and it has for the most part been devastating as of late), there could be some light coming at the end of the tunnel. “You’re My Home” is the title of the May 14 finale, and at least based on what we are seeing now, we could have a little bit of hope in the episode. Given the death of Derek recently and the talk of further devastation coming in the May 7 installment “Time Stops,” this is a show that could benefit from a moment or two for us to catch our collective breath. Maybe this episode will be the chance to do just that, while looking in the direction of the future.

For now, just take a look at the rather-short synopsis containing just what you can expect: “As the doctors continue to tackle an unfathomable crisis, they are reminded of what is important and brought closer together, on the season finale.”

Sure, we know that it is possible that we could have a cliffhanger in this episode, but we’re personally hoping for something akin to what we had last season with Cristina’s exit: Fans are going to continue to watch the show even if you forego giving them some final shock, and hasn’t everyone already been through enough?

One interesting thing about the Derek situation is that it has almost caused us to forget about the other super-depressing things this season, which include the Jackson – April baby crisis and the end of Callie and Arizona as a couple. It’s been a depressing past eight months.
