‘The Amazing Race 26’ episode 10 preview: The right calculations

Amazing Race -It is not like “The Amazing Race” to reveal too much of what is coming in some of their preview videos, but in the one below from Friday night’s new episode of the series, you do at least get a chance to see some of what is happening at the moment with Jenny & Jelani as they seem to be the first team to arrive at a calculation-based task.

Yes, the annoying part of this is that this seems to be some corporate synergy for Fitbit, who also had some primo space on “Big Brother 16” this past summer. They track the total number of steps taken, and the teams have been wearing these the entire race. In this challenge, teams have to figure out how much they have traveled, and also come up with how long it will take them to walk off a calorie bomb known as sugar cane juice, something that is made for them on the spot.

We don’t really see any team having that much trouble with this, but the preview is mostly interesting for pointing out that these two at least get off to a good start in Peru. Whether or not they actually stay in that same spot is still to be seen, since there is a whole lot of race still to come.

The team we are obviously the most concerned about at the moment is Mike & Rochelle, and mostly because you don’t avoid elimination narrowly for a few weeks to suddenly become a favorite to go far. They are the underdogs, and probably will be for the rest of the season.
