‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Carly Waddell, Chris Soules receive extremely intimate date

Carly -We feel like it has already been established that the Costco date is probably the worst one-on-one to get on “The Bachelor” this season. Sure, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Chris Soules made the best of what had to be a very awkward situation, but how much romance can you have catering to the needs of Jimmy Kimmel.

Now, we have another potentially awkward date coming up featuring a “Love Guru,” who we are assuming is not Mike Myers in disguise. For some reason, this said guru will be in New Mexico of all places, even though it seems more appropriate for those India scenes during “Arrested Development” season 4. Carly Waddell will be the recipient of this date after spending some time with Chris off and on during the season, and based on the synopsis below, this has the potential to be very awkward:

“Chris and Carly meet the ‘Love Guru,’ who puts them through a series of sexual exercises which leave them practically naked, putting their connection on a fast track. Will the sexual tension lead to an intimate connection or will the couple get cold feet?”

You see, the issue here with this date is that it puts this immediate pressure on someone to get a little frisky, which really should not be the focus at this point in the competition, even if it is not on a Fantasy Suite level. Imagine if Becca Tilley had gotten this date! We worry for Carly since this is forcing a whole lot on her in a very short amount of time.

As for what else we’re curious about, is the show ever going to talk about her brother Zak? It’s going to be totally strange if she makes it to hometown dates, and we end up seeing the same family we saw back on Desiree Hartsock’s season. It would be even more uncomfortable if she was eliminated in the same place.

We know that there are many other highlights from “The Bachelor” worth looking at right now, so head over here to watch a very-dramatic new promo featuring some of them!
