‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Does Britt Nilsson cause drama after Chris Soules date?

Is there  villain on “The Bachelor” this season? This is something that ABC asks bluntly in the title for the new sneak peek for the ABC show. Unfortunately, we cannot really give you too much of an answer right now, other than that the show really wants you to think that there are some possible candidates out there.

For one, let’s start with Britt Nilsson. With the super-dramatic music in the background as Britt describes her one-on-one date to the other women (which is somewhat odd that the show is blatantly spoiling that she gets a rose), the suggestion is implied here that Britt knows she is rubbing her good date in the face of the other contestants. Maybe she does on a subconscious level, but this really feels more like she just wants to talk about it, and doesn’t really have anyone else she can chat to other than the other ladies. It’s just unfortunate for her that there are no other options in the house.

The part of her story that is extremely problematic to the other women relates to a nap that she apparently took with Chris at some point in the afternoon, and that is a certain level of intimacy that has everyone else concerned about their own relationships with him. Panic ensues, and this ultimately leads to Kelsey Poe in particular taking it upon herself to have her story told. The show has also worked overtime to make her into a villain, but she has a point here: She still has not told him about her past and that she is a widow, and this may be her only opportunity to do so.

By the end of this episode, we are probably going to be down to mostly the serious contenders, and at the moment, we’re not sure that Kelsey is that. She is right there with Mackenzie, Carly, and Ashley I. to us at the moment.
