‘The Mentalist’ season 7, episode 1 video: One last look at ‘Nothing But Blue Skies’

Odds are, you have probably been waiting for a good while now to see what lies ahead for Patrick Jane and company on “The Mentalist,” but wait no longer! We are only a day or so away from the premiere of “Nothing But Blue Skies,” which should be both a happy and very entertaining episode that gives us a better since of how everyone is moving forward in their lives.

There’s another sneak peek below featuring the new character Michelle Vega meeting members of the team, but to go along with that, we thought we’d hand you over a few basic details right now in terms of what to expect:

1. The premiere episode picks up a couple of weeks after the events of the finale from last season, and thanks to that, Jane and Lisbon have gone through some of their blissful honeymoon phase already.

2. However, they have not told anyone at work just yet about it, and one of them will have resistance to it.

3. Michelle Vega’s arrival could mean some interesting new dynamics for the team, and who knows? Maybe she’ll be a love interest for one of the supporting characters.

4. Pedro Pascal will return in here for another appearance as Pike, and is doing so far more famous now after playing the Red Viper on “Game of Thrones.”

5. Expect an episode that is a little bit of fun, but also proof that Jane and Lisbon are going to have to work hard to make sure that they have a great relationship.
