‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: Has Lea Michele confirmed Becca Tobin return?

There have been quite a few mysteries regarding the sixth and final season of “Glee,” but one of the larger ones has been whether or not any of the McKinley High students from the past couple of seasons would be around again this time. We’re of course speaking of people like Jake, Marley, Kitty, and Unique, who became the foundation of the school while some of the alumni were all over America.

Well, we may at least have some sort of answer now via Lea Michele’s Twitter: You’re at least going to see Becca Tobin again. Not only that, but you’re going to see Kitty still sporting her Cheerios uniform!

What does this mean? It’s possible that she could be coming back as an alumni Cheerio, but we’ve already seen Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, and Dianna Agron sport uniforms for this that are modified versions of the ones the cheerleaders typically wear. Kitty’s looks like the original flavor, which may mean that she is still a student at McKinley.

The biggest reason we see this as important is that it gives us a better sense of time between one season and the next. If Kitty is still a student, we know that the time jump cannot really be more than just a couple of years. It’s at least enough time for Rachel to have gone to Hollywood for her new show, only to realize that this didn’t quite work out as she hoped it would.
