‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4: Jennifer Morrison joins Gillian Jacobs, more at Monte Carlo TV Festival
There are many TV festivals that take place around the globe, but it is pretty easy to figure out why the Monte Carlo TV Festival is so popular. We could make a long list explaining all of the various reasons why, or we could just say this: It’s in Monte Carlo, and people like being in rich places where there is royalty and tons of cool stuff to do.
One other benefit for the stars? The festival takes place before production begins for the majority of the fall shows, so there is an opportunity for many to attend. This year, some of the notable names who showed up included the following:
- “Once Upon a Time” star Jennifer Morrison, sporting a gown that appeared almost straight out of a fairy tale.
- “Community” stars Gillian Jacobs and Joel McHale. It is still unlikely that the show will be revived on Hulu, but for the time being we can still dream.
- “Scandal” star Bellamy Young, who has been very busy like many other “Scandal” stars have been with Emmy season.
The Monte Carlo TV Festival does hand out a few awards, and as we reported earlier, “NCIS” was crowned with the title of being the most-watched show of the entire year. This is a complicated title to win, given that you are considering season 10 in some places, parts of it and season 11 in others, and even some earlier seasons in select territories.
One other interesting thing about putting both Jacobs and Morrison in the title of this article is that we’d be totally fine if Gillian was cast as Elsa for season 4 … just saying. Of course, we’ll have a whole lot more on that story whenever news is available.
