‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Questions about Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert thanks to new titles
As you’re starting to get readjusted to normal life after spending some quality time this weekend with friends and family, are you ready for some more “Glee” scoop? There are two episodes that will be airing shortly after the show’s return in February, and they each suggest some pretty interesting developments for the band known as Pamela Lansbury.
You may have heard already that the ninth episode of the season is entitled “Frenemies,” and the easy idea to link this to is the relationship between Starchild (Adam Lambert) and also Kurt (Chris Colfer). The word “nemesis” has been tossed around at times with good reason, and you also have to remember that they have clashed before, and this could also be a reference to some sort of character clash over at McKinley High. This show really likes to draw parallels, and we at least really like that the title feels like something that could have come from one of the show’s earlier seasons.
Then, you turn to the episode with the super-scary name of “Trio.” You usually think of this only from the standpoint of a musical trio, and that makes you wonder whether or not the band eventually loses two of its members. Given that Demi Lovato was booked originally for six episodes, and has only done three so far, you would think that this is not the end of her and possibly Adam’s story on the show; but, then again, something could have always changed in production.
Personally, we’d love to see Adam and Demi’s characters start up some rival band and be a good foil for the original New York crew. It’d give some good drama to the proceedings, and also hopefully allow the two recurring guest stars to do something more on the show. Demi for some reason has been mostly relegated to sitting around as of late, and there was not even an explanation for her blue hair in “Puppet Master.” (Also, there was no puppet of her. Sad.)
We’ll have so much more on this “Glee” episode as soon as we hear it, but for now, we suggest you click here to see some more news and discussion all about the “Previously Unaired Christmas” episode airing on Thursday night.

Please have more Adam Lambert on the show! He brings so much talent and charisma and makes the show fresh. We need Adam to sing as much as possible. He’s also a good actor!

Well Adam certainly stands out as Elliot,as a kind of a guy who doesn’t take things for granted. Is strong, passionate and extremely dignified.Love him. He’s the best addition to the show.

i’m another one who never watched glee until adam showed up. the show itself has great music…and that’s about it. until adam, of course. he’s an amazing talent, but we all knew that from season 8 of idol, all those long days ago. he can do it all and does it flawlessly. rock on, you gorgeous creature!!

I’m guessing Demi Lovato’s agent is begging she be left in the background and fade away from this tanking show as quietly and quickly as possible…sadly the glory days of glee are long gone. The cast and craft continue to be hugely talented, but the incredibly bad narrative lines, poor writing, lack of character continuity, and the showrunner’s arrogance have doomed glee.

Adam and Demi have added a needed pick up to the show…the new people at the school are kind of boring and sort of copies of the old….New York part is a bit intriguing but one got the feeling that Lea is not into it as much due to her loss…and they all seem and is reported to love Adam as a person and are blown away by his talent. I think the producers would be dumb to not continue both Adam and Demi…that make the show more interesting.

Just please continue to have Adam Lambert in this show. He is fabulous to watch and listen to….yet until he does a duet with the best female singer around, Lea Michelle, I won’t be satisfied. Those two voices could produce one of the best vocals ever heard on the show. Marry the Night was one of the best. Adam should get his own show someday.

Adam and Demi really should get more screens, the high school story is becoming boring,i wanna see the NY line much more.Elliot is a charming character,i hope glee can see that and stop putting the show into the boring story.

Never watched glee until Adam was on it..he’s great on this show with what little they’ve given him to work with..I really think they should continue to link Kurt with Ellliot (not romantically) so Kurt can establish an artistic and professional identity outside of the Blaine-creepfest. I think Kurt being confined to marriage so early is restricting his character growth…I think Kurt’s dealing’s with Elliot will help him grow and see the bigger picture…

Wow, for some one whose never watched Glee before Adam Lambert guest starred on it, you sure seem to understand the characters, personalities & their arcs:-). I couldn’t agree more about Adam, where did this guy get such an amazing vocal range & the ability to grab your attention & keep it in every scene he’s been in. I’m still blown away w/”Marry the Night”. What a performer! That said, its still “Blaine” who has me hooked on Glee, its no stretch to say he’s one of the most talented individuals I’ve seen in years. What I’d really love to see would be Darren Criss & Adam Lambert singing & having scenes together, what an amazing talented combination that would be. That could be incredible! I love Kurts character, but I wouldn’t be (& I’m not) running to I tunes after each episode & buying the songs he sings on the show like I have been doing with songs that I like that “Blaine” sings. And like I did w/Marry the Night & “Starchild” singing it. Where ever the Glee folks found this Adam, they should be signing him as a regular cast member & putting him front & center with “Blaine”. It would be either the most entertaining duo in yrs or a giantic combustion of disastrous proportions depending on their chemistry, but it would be hard not to love it no matter which way it turned out! I’d never heard of Adam Lambert or the “Marry the Night” song before Adams debut on Glee, so I pulled up Gaga’s video of this song on you tube. Watching her (way too long & frankly, boring) rendition of the song, especially compared to Starchilds version, I can see why I had never heard this song, nor anything about the song. Gaga has nothing on Lambert. He knocked it out if the park. Made Gaga look, not so good.

If you never heard of Adam before this Glee thing, prepare yourself to be “introduced”. Please Google “Fever”. This was a song written by Lady Gaga that is on Adam’s first album “For Your Entertainment”. She was in the studio with him when he recorded it. He performed the song every night during his Glam Nation Tour and kissed his base player, Tommy Joe, almost every performance.
Many people were introduced to him when he fronted QUEEN for several performances, most recently at the iHeart Music Festival and are looking forward to a tour with Queen.

Exciting to hear the beginnings of a new Glambert! He blew the rest of us away on American Idol, and he continues to do it. Who else could front for Queen other than Freddie Mercury?? ADAM LAMBERT! He’s truly in a league of his own. Even in the world of superstardom, I don’t think there’s a level of talent out there that touches the charisma of this man!

Atigrace….I’ve watched every episode of Glee and admit that until Adam was cast, I was starting to get bored. I’ve been a die-hard Glambert since day one, and he is the best live performer I’ve ever seen. America can’t handle his level of talent, in my opinion (how can Swift, Bieber, Spears, Perry, or any country singer be so popular). Adam is quite popular overseas despite radio refusing to play him. I too am a Darren Criss fan and I wouldn’t mind them singing together. But, until he sings with Lea Michelle, who is the best female singer I’ve heard, my bucket list won’t be satisfied for Glee.

A rival band? Yes !! Demi and Adam should start their own band. This is the only way they can really shine singing solos. They have the best voices of the cast.

Please, with the seven minutes the NY side gets they could start a rival band and the show still wouldn’t let them sing. They’d just tell us that they did while Blaine sings six more solos.

Britney is right. NYC only has limited screen time share and we know Demi has 6 episodes – that is only 3 left – and she has said she will not be signing on for more. Not much screen time to be establishing a rival band. :(

I’m enjoying Glee for first time in years especially due to Adam and Demi being on the show. There was so much positive response to Adam’s cover of MTN why not have him do another solo? Why not use him more he’s best male singer today. Only thing that comes to mind is that Adam and Demi will be used for more shows starting in Feb. He has already filmed one with Lea not shown yet so let’s home more duets and a solo from Adam.

But if they gave Adam another solo there wouldn’t be time for all the bland new kids to sing six songs an episode.
