‘Dexter’ season 8, episode 11 preview: On the hunt in ‘Monkey in a Box’
This past Sunday was a sad one for “Dexter” fans. What’s the reason for that? It is the simple thought of having to go another week before finally getting a new episode. That means that the photo that we’re here to talk about today is actually for an episode, entitled “Monkey in a Box,” that airs in thirteen days.
As for what we’re looking at here, it seems to be Dexter on the road to doing what he basically does best: Finding a target, and then putting them on a one-way ticket to his table. Given that the show will be far too late in the game (as this is the penultimate episode) for the major target to be someone that we have yet to be introduced to, we have to imagine that he is gearing up for a confrontation with either Oliver Saxon or someone else that could be causing him trouble … whether it be Hannah McKay (could he kill Hannah?) or someone on the side of good that is suddenly causing him to break his code.
The one thing that we can say for sure is that whenever he puts on this famous outfit, terrible things happen to whoever he runs into. Let’s just hope that the end result here is exciting, and adds a spark to these final few episodes that has really not been here for much of this final season. We want to reserve judgment, but as much as we have loved Charlotte Rampling’s work, the story has been going downhill almost since the return of Hannah and the first appearance of Zach Hamilton.
Now that we’ve talked about this, let’s take a step back for a minute. If you want to read some more news when it comes to Sunday’s “Dexter” season 8 episode, be sure to visit the link here. We’ll have more throughout the week, so stay tuned!
