Yellowjackets season 4 premiere date: A June 2026 update

Is there a chance that we are going to hear anything more about Yellowjackets season 4 between now and the end of June? Given that filming for the final season kicked off months ago, it does feel like the right time for there to be more questions out there. That includes what the story could be, who lives and who dies, and of course when Showtime and/or Paramount+ are actually going to bring it back on the air.

There is a chance that we get a few more details on the final chapter before the month closes, and we are clinging to that as a small measure of hope. Unfortunately, we cannot do the same here when it comes to a start date.

After all, we do have to remember the following here — in the midst of everything that has been said about season 4, nothing has been reported that makes us optimistic about the idea that we could be seeing any episodes this year. Winter 2027 feels like the best-case scenario and if that is the case, we may not get much of an exact date announcement until we get to October or November at the earliest. That is a long time to still wait.

Could we have anything to dive into before then?

Well, we will say that there is still that mystery Yellowjackets bonus episode out there featuring Jason Ritter. However, we have wondered as of late if there is a chance we never see this story air at all. That is a depressing thought, but this filmed all the way back in season 2!
