We have made it to the start of a new year and of course, there are many reasons for excitement — including the return of Silo, no?

One thing that is obvious to us at this point is that at some point, the Apple TV hit is going to be back on the air this year. Filming wrapped more than six months ago and with that in mind, we imagine that post-production is either done or they are getting close to it. Filming for seasons 3 and 4 is taking place back-to-back, which could mean a smaller break in the action down the road.

In getting back to season 3 in particular here, we’ll say that there is at least a chance we hear something before the month is over. However, that does not mean we’re going to be seeing it until March or April, at the earliest. There is a case to be made that it could actually return in May, mostly because Apple has already announced an April start for one of their other big shows in Your Friends & Neighbors starring Jon Hamm.

As for what the story for season 3 will look like…

Let’s just say that it will begin most likely with us getting to see another look back at the past, with us learning a little bit more about the origins of how these structures first came about. We know that Juliette will also still have a big role to play, even if she is not as present in this particular batch of source material. We expect that the creative team is going to do some remixing here and there, while still staying faithful to what the vision of the world is.
