‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: First look at ‘Ravenswood’ duo

In just a matter of five weeks, you will be spending your Tuesday nights getting a chance to dive headfirst back into the world of ABC Family’s smash hit series “Pretty Little Liars.” However, in just over five months, we will have an opportunity to see the debut of the show’s spin-off “Ravenswood” courtesy of a backdoor pilot that will air as the show’s Halloween special.

While we don’t know too much more in the way of scoop about the actual plot, save for the fact that it will be set in a small, but “cursed,” town on the outskirts of the “Pretty Little Liars” town of Rosewood, we do at least know a few people who will be joining Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) on the series in some sort of permanent capacity. According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of these additions is going to be Brett Dier of “The L.A. Complex.” Specifically, he will be taking on the part here of Abel, who is described as an “old soul” with a great deal of intensity, and someone who really does not enjoy the company of others.

Meanwhile, actress Elizabeth Whitson will be playing Abel’s twin sister Olivia, who has endured quite a fall from grace in recent years. While she was at one point a prom queen, she has since that time watched much of the world crumble around her, and has realized that many people that she once believed to be her friends are not exactly as nice or lovely as she thought.
