Industry season 5 premiere date hopes as filming hopes

For everyone out there who is excited to see Industry season 5 eventually arrive on HBO, we have news that is very-much a step in the right direction!
In a new post on his Instagram Stories, co-showrunner Mickey Down indicated that work is officially underway behind the scenes on the series. This is something that we had expected for a little while now and because of that, we tend to think that over the next few months, the entire cast and crew are going to be working hard to ensure the final season is exceptional. There are certainly still stories worth telling here but if there is one thing we know with confidence, it is simply this: They will be unpredictable. This is a show that has never been afraid to jettison characters at any given moment.

So now that we know that production is underway on Industry season 5, this does raise another all-important question: When is it going to premiere on HBO? Of course, it would make sense for it to premiere as soon as possible for the impatient people out there, but this is not a network that operates like that. More often than not they are willing to be patient so that the creative team can ensure that the final product is as perfect as possible — and why deviate from that now?
Our general feeling is that summer 2027 makes a lot of sense for the return of the series, especially since there could be new seasons of The Last of Us and Dune: Prophecy that conceivably air first. There is also the chance we see more of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms beforehand, but we will have to wait and see if that turns out to be the case.
