‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Official details from season premiere

Red CoatHave you been excited to see what is coming next on “Pretty Little Liars”? Well, we now have our first official taste at what to expect from the June 11 season premiere, and it’s all courtesy of a new press release courtesy of ABC Family.

This episode is promising that after a great deal of waiting, we will finally have some much-needed answers. Is Alison DiLaurentis really alive, are the contents of the police trunk really going to change everything, and what motivation does the group of Shana, Melissa, and Jenna really have to work together? Hopefully, we will have at least some answers to one or two of these questions by the time the series comes to a close.

For more, we now turn to the official synopsis:

“In the Season 4 premiere of ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ entitled ‘A is for A-l-i-v-e,’ airing Tuesday, June 11th (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT), the Liars are desperate to uncover what new scheme ‘A’ has in store for them in the wake of the lodge fire, and have no choice but to turn to Mona for answers, now that she is also being targeted. Aria struggles with seeing Ezra in the wake of their breakup, and Emily starts to make plans for life after high school. Meanwhile, ‘A’ sets Toby on a new path, what’s in the trunk is revealed, and a shocking discovery reverberates through Rosewood.”

The show is of course very smart to not reveal whether or not there is any appearance from Ali again in the episode, though it is nice to hear that we are going to see some more of Ezra even though he and Aria are no longer an item. As painful as the present may be, we have a feeling that we have not seen the last of these two just yet.
