‘The Glades’ season 4 spoilers: What ‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’ contestant is in?
While you run the risk of making a massive fool of yourself, being on a reality series like “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice” does have its obvious benefits. If you want more information on that, just ask Marilu Henner.
According to a report from TVLine, the former “Taxi” star, who has also booked a role recently on the upcoming season 10 finale of “Two and a Half Men,” has signed on to appear in the upcoming fourth season of the A&E hit “The Glades,” where she will be playing the role of Joan Longworth, the mother of Jim. As for the reason why she could be turning up at this point in the show, it’s pretty easy to figure that there could be a wedding on the horizon between Jim and Callie, and meeting the parents is very much a key part of the equation.
Henner will be around for at least three episodes of the show, which will premiere this summer. A&E has certainly come into its own as a major force to be reckoned with in the past year. You not only have the breakout success of “Duck Dynasty,” but both “Longmire” and “Bates Motel” have really proven to be formidable companions to “The Glades” in the scripted department. For a couple of years, this was one of the only scripted series on the network getting any attention at all.
What do you think about this casting news, and do you see Henner’s recent run on TV as evidence that working with Donald Trump really does help you career? If you want to read about Henner’s last episode of the NBC show, you can do so over at the link here.
