TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 2 finale spoilers: The ‘who shot J.R.?’ mystery intensifies
As we inch closer to the “Dallas” finale airing on TNT next week, more and more details will be made clear, including not just who is responsible for killing J.R. Ewing (the late Larry Hagman) earlier this season, but why. We’ve already heard that the news of the killer was a shock to many of the actors on the show, even though they have had more opportunities to pick the brains of the executive producers than just about anyone.
In the latest sneak peek from the episode, we see John Ross getting incredibly emotional and frustrated over the fact that he is seemingly not getting anywhere close to where he wants to when it comes to finding out answers about his father. Of course, patience is stressed, as it has been a number of times over the past several weeks. It has clearly been an eventful season for the John Ross character more so than just about anyone, and it culminated in the surprise wedding last week.
Whatever happens in the finale, we just hope that it provides some sort of closure for all of the Ewing family so that they can finally get an opportunity to go about their daily lives once again. The sort of drama around J.R. dates back far into the original series, and sooner or later, there has to be some sort of peace even for one of the most nefarious families in reality TV history.
What do you think about this sneak peek, and what sort of conclusion do you want to see for the John Ross storyline on “Dallas” this year? Be sure to share your thoughts below! If you want to watch some more video from the finale, you can do so over at the link here.
