NBC’s ‘The Office’ series finale spoilers: Exec talks ‘kitchen sink’ approach
If you are a fan of “The Office,” don’t worry: the show is not going to pull a “Lost” and leave some questions hanging during its upcoming series finale. As a matter of fact, it seems almost as though the show will do its best to answer as many questions and tie together as many stories as humanly possible.
Speaking in a new interview on this very subject to E! News, executive producer Ben Silverman had the following to say about just what sort of feeling viewers should expect to have when watching this final episode next month, which is going to be at least an hour in length and possibly more:
“The show’s final episode is so deep and moving and emotional and textured … It is a kitchen sink of incredible stories coming to an end, or to a next phase. All the characters that you love are going through their journey, and we complete a lot of the arcs that we set up in the show, and there are things going on with all of them.”
Among some of the questions that we expect answers for include whether or not Jim and Pam are going to work through their differences and plan their future, if Dwight and Angelina are going to be able to finally get together, and if Andy is really going to make his dreams at show business come true. Plus, you can expect some appearances from such people as Kelly and Ryan, who have been fixutres on “The Office” at various points in the past.

Michael Scott needs to cameo. It’s only right. Hopefully they realized the impact it would make, they did it, and they managed to keep it a secret. But it’s unlikely…..
