Why did Paloma Aguilar leave Big Brother 24? Show explains
Ultimately, there has been a lot of confusion on social media for the past 24 hours, and we’ll reiterate what we’ve said in past episodes: It’s never a good idea to speculate about someone’s physical or mental health. It looked as though Paloma was struggling in her final days in the game, but that is all that was certain. The feeds went down late Wednesday evening, and it was clear around that time we’d be stuck waiting until tonight came around to get some answers.

Technically, it was not clear entering the episode tonight that Paloma was 100% gone, but it was easy to see the writing on the wall. The live feeds stopped focusing on her and beyond just that, houseguests were asking questions about her status. When those sort of things happen, it rarely bodes well for anyone.

What happened?
It was made clear that Paloma was not sleeping over her final days into the house, and she also said that she was struggling with anxiety. We do see people struggle about a week into the game, but not really on the level that we saw with her.
The exit doesn’t appear to be altogether complicated or controversial; Paloma decided to leave due to a “personal matter.” She felt like being in the house wasn’t the right environment for her and we understand that. It’s not for everyone. There weren’t any more details given by the show, other than that she left the game and chose to do so on her own accord. She will have a lot to answer for outside the game (especially her comments towards Taylor), but we will see what comes with that.
The aftermath of her exit
The Backstage twist did not happen as expected, largely because Paloma was one of the people involved in the twist. Taylor and Terrance were also declared safe — no one was evicted!
