‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Joseph Morgan on Klaus, Rebekah
After seeing her missing in action for a good part of “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, the midseason finale on Thursday night brought us some very welcome news when it comes to Claire Holt’s character of Rebekah: she’s back.
So what are we going to be seeing from the character upon her return? While this is still relatively unclear, actor Joseph Morgan makes one thing very clear during a new interview with Zap2It: above anything else, he is just pleased to see that the character is back in action, and that the woman responsible for playing her is getting an opportunity to spend some more time back on the show’s Atlanta set. As for whether or not Klaus and Rebekah are ever going to be able to get along, that is a very different story:
“I’d like to think [that the two can find peace]. Obviously there was a major betrayal there, but I think that if anyone could forgive Klaus, Rebekah has been there with him for a thousand years, they’ve been very close, and I think she could forgive him. I don’t like when she’s daggered! Claire [Holt] just goes back to Los Angeles when Rebekah is daggered, and that’s no fun.”
So what sort of storyline awaits Rebekah now? That much is still largely a mystery, though we believe that she is going to be rather unhappy with just about everyone not named April. No one (in particular the guy she’s rather fond of in Matt) is really giving her much attention at all over her incident during the season 3 finale, and it is hard to see that suddenly changing. She’s going to have to put in some hard work first, and even though she is a vampire, there is no quick-fix out there to make people suddenly like you.
