‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Damian McGinty hints at return to show
Is “Glee” season 4 about to see Rory Flanagan turn up after a long (and at times confusing) wait? While nothing is confirmed just yet, we have a feeling that fans of Damian McGinty are going to be very pleased about what is coming up later this season.
So what do we know for sure? It’s really a combination of things, but we’ll do our best to list it out for you when it comes to concrete evidence. Remember, though, that this can always change given that Ryan Murphy at one point suggested that we would be seeing Rory again during the Thanksgiving episode, and that idea seems to be more or less dead now.
1. The reports coming out earlier this week suggesting that there would be a character in the Christmas episode that has not been around all season long.
2. Damian’s recent suggestions on Twitter that he is extremely busy at the moment, and he is replying to questions about “Glee” by telling them to “stay tuned.” Back when it was looking like Damian was done on the show, he really was not talking about it at all.
3. The fact that Damian tweeted message beginning with “late night on set.” Unless he is working on another show, this is more or less a dead giveaway.
While we have heard rumors about what could be bringing Damian back to the show, this is one of those things that is really more fun if it is kept a secret. For now, just be happy with the information that is out there … and more will come soon!

As of today, can’t find any confirmation from McGinty that he’s returning to Glee in any capacity, although he appears to have plenty of other work on hand. So, am assuming this is just more of Glee’s usual misleading misinformation. Will continue to check to see if McGinty confirms any appearances on Glee or (hopefully) any other show. Still confounded as to why McGinty would want to be wallpaper or an insulting stereotype on Glee when he has so many other opportunities. Further confounded as to why Glee (supposedly a very successful show) cannot find better writers. Oh well, guess that’s show biz. Yawn.

I only started watching Glee because of Damian. His performances with Celtic Thunder had me hooked on his voice and his great personality. His lack of performance opportunities had me fast forwarding through many episodes to see if he even got to perform. I’m starting to lose patience and am unlikely to continue watching if I don’t see the return of Damian. Very disappointed.

Right. Another flurry of red herrings, another invitation to follow a false bread crumb trail that’s supposed to end in getting to see Damian McGinty back on Glee. I’ll believe when McGinty himself confirms it. If and when that happens, I’ll record Glee and zip through it to see if they actually use him. If he really does return at some point, I sincerely hope his return is conditioned on a decent script and an interesting musical opportunity. However, after the ill-use he’s received from Glee so far, I have little hope for any positive outcome.

Well…..now I know what the writers have been devoting all of their energies on these past 20 odd months. They’re concocting another reality show starring the one and only Mr. McGee. We’ve all been tuned in since TGP1….been pullin’ our hair out in frustration, had many laughs or “two”, threw things at the TV (don’t even try to deny it, you know it’s true), invented one or two swear words (more like a 100 in my particular case….sorry God, see ya’ at the Pearly Gates…or not, dependin’ on how things go these next few months…may have just hit my “Hail Mary” limit with you, though)…… And, all ye writers at Glee, unfortunately for you (or fortunately, depending on the path you take us down), we all plan on seein’ this soap opera through to the bitter, bitter end.
