The Walking Dead season 10 episode 3 spoilers: Carol wants revenge

Coming up on The Walking Dead season 10 episode 3, we are obviously on the other side of the Whisperers’ origins. Yet, at the same time we are far from the end of their story. Tonight gave us more of the foundation to what’s going be coming between Carol and the Whisperers, a conflict that could be coming for some time still.

The threat of the Whisperers return leads to paranoia sweeping over Alexandria; in the meantime, Carol battles with the need for revenge.

This episode feels somewhat like a foundation for all sorts of stuff that will be coming down the line. We know that Carol has several bones to pick at the moment with the Whisperers, and for good reason. Just think about everything that she’s gone through because of them already!

Beyond all of that, there are still some other questions, including how everyone else in the communities are going to react to some of what is happening around them. Let’s think about it like this — the world of The Walking Dead is one that is stuffed full of paranoia, and we think on some level a lot of characters expect that. Yet, at the same time, there’s a difference between being paranoid about zombies and then being paranoid about human beings. To make matters worse, these are human beings disguising as zombies, so you never know what to expect … or when characters could eventually arrive.

Don’t you think that this could cause some people out there to eventually turn on each other? We have to believe so. Differences of ideologies are the sort of thing that, time and time again, split people apart on this show. This is the sort of world where characters do need each other, and the more that they split off from one another, the more dangerous things will become down the line. Brace for that already.
