Supernatural season 15 premiere sneak peek: Sam, Dean get desparate

In a mere matter of hours, the Supernatural season 15 premiere is going to be here … and we can’t even begin to imagine the end being here. Technically, it’s not here yet, but this is the last chance that we’re going to have to enjoy a premiere episode. We’re at that crazy point now where we have to take stock in every little event and twist and turn, given that there may not be another chance to enjoy them down the road. (We want to believe there could be an eventual revival, but nothing is a sure thing.)

What the sneak peek below serves as is a great reminder of just some of what’s coming up, mostly in the context of what we’ve seen already. Think about it in this way — at the end of season 14, we learned that Chuck was throwing his hands into the air and allowing a number of far-from-great souls to return back to the earth.

While we know that Sam and Dean are capable of solving all sorts of problems, this may be one that is a little bit too difficult for them. How do you deal with this? This is probably why they look to Castiel for a little bit of guidance, given his knowledge of otherworldly matters. The good news for Cas? He can stay locked away from the outside world for a while — after all, he’s not going to starve! He even has a snarky comment about it at the end of the preview, though it’s probably not something that either Sam or Dean wants to hear in this given moment.

By the end of this premiere, our hope is that Sam and Dean do manage to find their way forward — why should they be trapped forever with no real recourse? Getting them out in the world and hunting again is what most out there will want to see.
