Outlander season 5: Sam Heughan’s new filming update

Outlander season 4

Just in case you’re interested in getting a new Outlander season 5 filming update on the other side of New York Comic-Con, we come bearing some news today!

Each “block” consists of two episodes, which means that there are two more episodes still to be filmed. This means, also, that over the course of the next month/month and a half, filming on the season should wrap up. Think bout it this way — it’s taken almost six months for the first ten episodes to be filmed. This feels about the right window for the final two. Before the start of the holiday season, Outlander season 5 filming could be completed and now,

When filming for season 5 is done, the next order of business is going to be for the editors to package together the scenes properly for a fantastic television broadcast. Beyond just that, the installments will be scored and if there is any ADR needed, the cast will do that. The work is not necessarily going to be over for season 5; even if the cast is done on the episodes themselves, they sill need to promote what lies ahead and also find a way to prepare themselves for the future. There is also a season 6 coming up, and we have to imagine that they will start to get ready for that. (It feels clear to us that filming on the upcoming batch is going to come in the new year at some point.)

What are you the most excited to see right now when it comes to Outlander season 5?
