Is the friendship between the two going to be severely damaged as a result? It’s possible, and we are starting to worry about what sort of effect being a vampire will have on Elena once the initial shock of what wears off.
Fans of the whole “Delena” relationship are probably getting a little bit of joy out of the fact that the two parties have some sort of “reset” on the live triangle now that so much has changed. These may not may a major impact on what she decides to do with her life at first, but you also have to figure that these could slowly and surely eat away at her over time.
