We know that being a vampire is going to change things for one Elena Gilbert. After all, it has to! What may be a bit more of a surprise, however, is seeing just what sort of drama is going to end up coming her way for the rest of “The Vampire Diaries” this season.
According to a new report from E! News, Nina Dobrev’s character is not necessarily going to be hooking up with one Damon Salvatore at the end of one of the show’s upcoming episodes; however, she will at least be doing enough to set off some alarms in the mind of one of her close friends in Caroline. Is the friendship between the two going to be severely damaged as a result? It’s possible, and we are starting to worry about what sort of effect being a vampire will have on Elena once the initial shock of what wears off.
Fans of the whole “Delena” relationship are probably getting a little bit of joy out of the fact that the two parties have some sort of “reset” on the live triangle now that so much has changed. After all, Elena now knows that Damon said he loved her, and that he actually met her before Stefan did all the way to season 1. These may not may a major impact on what she decides to do with her life at first, but you also have to figure that these could slowly and surely eat away at her over time.
Do you think that we could see Elena and Damon get together by the end of this season, and if it happens are you going to blame her transformation into a vampire? Be sure to share your thoughts below!
