SEAL Team season 2 episode 20 spoilers: The fear of ‘Rock Bottom’
We’ve known for a while that the story with Ray is charting somewhere — we’ve just had questions aplenty as to where it could be. The hope for the past few days (at least for us) has been that what happened with Clay would help to send a shock through Ray’s system. Seeing a good friend in peril can sometimes be the sort of thing to really turn your own life around … but that’s not what is happening here. Instead, the SEAL Team season 2 episode 20 synopsis teases that Jason and Ray could be at odds in a way that they haven’t been before:
“Rock Bottom” – The tension between Jason and Ray comes to a head, and Lisa faces her final test in officer candidate school, on SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, May 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
As for the Davis story, does this mean that she’ll be a step closer to spending time with Bravo Team again? We’re at least hoping for something here, just because a reunion between her and Sonny feels very much in the cards! As posted yesterday on the site, the relationship between these two has been one of the best things about the season — and one of the most exciting romances we can remember. While it is exciting for Davis to have this sort of meaty storyline where so much of the focus is constantly on her, we would appreciate a chance to be able to explore some other unique avenues with her and the rest of the team again.

Where things stand amidst the larger order
There are 22 episodes this season — which does feel like a lot until you’re really close to the finale airing on CBS. At that point, it doesn’t really feel like all that much at all and you’re just looking at a ticking clock and trying to determine whether or not there’s time for the show to really tell all the stories you want. We’re also staring possible cancellation in the face, and that adds just another layer of tension.
Basically, the message for the final run of this season is to enjoy them while we have ’em, since there is no guarantee that there will be more down the line.
